Artist Statement
“The jewelry I make is the result of lengthy formal studies on a variety of concepts. The concepts emerge from ideas which have no “form.” Be it a material whose characteristics I wish to present, or the symbolic connection between rings- the forms are reduced to a minimum in order to most simply and harmoniously present my ideas.”

Care of Iron Rings:
The iron is treated with fire, oil and graphite four to six times, which seals the pores of the iron and makes it more resistant to corrosion. Skin oils help maintain the surface. When washes dishes or swimming, the rings should be removed.
