Elise Moran

About The Artist

Elise Moran received her BFA in jewelry design and metalsmithing from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1990. She has created her own line of sterling silver and gold jewelry.

Elise’s inspiration comes from nature, science, religion and many times, imagery from childhood. She feels jewelry reflects a state of mind. Rather than serving as adornment, it serves to empower its wearer…with the right piece of jewelry, who knows what one can achieve.

About The Work

Moran works in gold and sterling silver. She uses a soft satin finish to emphasize the form of objects and to enhance the color of the metal. Her jewelry features beautifully hand-made findings and closures.

Care Of Your Elise Moran Jewelry

1. Clean jewelry with warm water and a mild soap to remove dirt and oils.
2. Dip in a tarnish remover (eg: Tarnex) and/or a solution of baking soda and water.
3. Wash jewelry with soap and water to remove tarnish remover.

Note: Do not submerge hollow jewelry with holes. Do not put pearls in tarnish remover – it will damage the luster. Rub Scotchbrite or a course steel wool on the jewelry surface to restore a soft satiny finish.
