Ursula Scholz
ABOUT THE ARTIST

Ursula Scholz was born in Castrup-Rauxel, Germany in 1957, and currently lives and works in a turn-of-the century villa in Schoneiche, Germany.

After undergraduate studies in French and geography at the University of Frieburg, Ursula earned a masters in jewelry design and goldsmithing at the Pforzheim Design College.  She then founded her own atelier in Frankfurt and began to exhibit throughout Europe.  Her work has been shown throughout the United States since 1993.  

Over the years, Ursula has received various awards including the Award for Innovative Design from the International Design Center in 1999.

ABOUT THE WORK 

Ursula Scholz creates hand-fabricated jewelry in platinum and 18k gold with diamonds.  Her work is elegant, modern, and sophisticated, and reflects the finest in workmanship, quality, and design.  While each individual piece is unique and distinctive in and of itself, a combination of pieces opens up a playful panorama of possibilities.
