Contours and patterns are carefully cut, allowing the stone to elevate its quiet, effervescent wonder.
The jewelry works of Hochstrasser come from a family owned jewelry business that began with two brothers, Thomas and Andreas. Harboring a European legacy of sculpted stone jewels. Beginning in early childhood, amongst the Swiss and Italian mountains and off the Island of Elba, the Hochstrassers spent the days with their father, mining for minerals, stones and gems.
Cultivating their fascination from childhood, the Hochstrassers abide by one simple philosophy: To imagine adornment that preserves the organic intricacies of these found objects. As master stonecutters, rings are designed and shaped to become natural, wearable works of art. Character is preserved in shape, color and form.
