"Just as the color black has many personalities, so does its sister color, white. This piece of wall was irresistible. A slight tilt of my camera gave me the subtle diagonal I was looking for. The light was helping me to divide the frame. All design is made up of a series of shapes, abstract or realistic. My first objective was to design the frame. In the viewfinder, the subject matter then supported the design, hence, the composition. My eye scanned the viewfinder in a moment’s notice, then the shutter engaged.
