Peter Schmid of Atelier Zobel composes a work of masterful design. Upon three planes of darkened silver, Schmid fuses the surface with high karat gold, then sprinkles each form with sparkling white diamonds. Upon the body, the convex work was designed to hug the ear and is a signature expression of artistic ingenuity. While each disk fits delicately together and hinged to move freely with every move, the bottom two disks can be detatched, changing the design without losing the brilliant composition for the wearer.
