"The universal quality of this cityscape appeals to me. It is difficult to tell where this is. This is a quintessential cityscape. As much as I desire to keep its secret, I am also happy to share the circumstances. I was driving on I-10 toward Downtown Los Angeles, to go to the LA art show, I had been watching the compositional possibilities of the buildings, but there was always too many cars or too many trees to contend with. I moved to the fast lane as I saw a possible opening ahead. At 70mph I hail-Mary'd this image, but then missed my exit and got stuck in that famous LA traffic, but it was worth it." - Sol Hill
