"On December 3, 2017, I saw a Super Moon. My view was from an overlook in the Jemez Mountains across the valley towards the east, where it rose over the Sangre de Cristo mountains. The most dramatic moment was driving down into the valley. The night sky was jet black and the moon was bright white as I ever saw it. It was this view, the contrast between black and white, that inspired this necklace."
