"The Jaguar LDC or Low Drag Coup, is a variation of a Jaguar E Type (XKE). Initially, there were only a handful of these cars made in the early 1960s. The gentleman who built this car is an architect and industrial designer by trade. He wanted one of these cars and had one made to his specifications. He helped design the car. He tried to carry off as much of the original design as possible, and tried to clean it up and improve it where he could. The interior is very different as he designed this in addition to all the gauges and switches, making for a very beautiful car. It’s so gorgeous and simple in its detail that when you get in real close to see some of what at first appears simple, the car comes alive..." - Michael Furman
