Patina Gallery with The Santa Fe Opera proudly presents Starry Night, featuring the coveted jewelry of New York jewelry house, Tamsen Z.
A portion of all proceeds through Summer 2021 will benefit The Santa Fe Opera’s Apprentice Program for Theater Technicians.
Founded in 2004, Tamsen Z is the creative (child) of Ann Ziff. Encouraged by her late husband, William B. Ziff, Jr., Ziff began collecting stones and creating her own original jewelry. Her collection has since evolved into one of the world's preeminent collections of privately owned gemstones. (Source: TamsenZ)
Starry Night, named in honor of the painting by Vincent Van Gogh, connects a shared passion of gems and jewels under the romance of New Mexico’s night sky. Capturing the exquisite beauty of these gemstones, Ziff makes this jewelry collection truly one of a kind.
From New York City to Santa Fe, Ziff’s jewelry introduces a trove of enchantment. Prized Paraiba tourmalines, extraordinary boulder opal, meteorite, and other gems uniquely harmonize while awash in the luster of silver and gold.
“The Starry Night collection encapsulates my design aesthetic and brings together some of my favorite gemstones. The jewelry... reflects my interest in unusual combinations of texture and color, mixing kyanite and tanzanite, moonstone, aquamarine, and opal. It also displays my passion for using diamond and diamond slices, and my fascination with meteorites for its exotic texture, its natural etched pattern, and its celestial origin”

Founder and Jewelry Designer, Tamsen Z
Amongst her story of the stones, Ziff draws from the tones, hues, and persona of Van Gogh’s mysterious moonlight, dramatic scenes, and swirls of mesmerizing fancy. Timeless, universal splendor awakens the senses, as jewelry in its artful spirit ignites a flame in the soul.
