Colored porcelain & gold leaf
This exquisite arabesque vessel, features a very distinctive Japanese technique called Nerikomi, where the color and pattern run all the way though the clay body. It is smooth to the touch, and perfectly transitions from one color and pattern to the next. One edge is beautifully accentuated with gold leaf, and thus included in our winter exhibition, 'Tis The Golden Season.
