Peter Schmid’s elongated Flowers by Dorothea ring is a lyrical composition in metal and stone. Crafted in cool, luminous palladium, the band stretches elegantly across the finger, its surface etched with dark, painterly lines of oxidized sterling silver that evoke petals in motion or the delicate sketches of a forgotten garden. At the center, a moonstone glows in a golden bezel, its opalescent light like a full moon rising through mist. Off to the side, a blue sapphire shimmers like a distant star, while white diamonds are fused along the stunning form. Sculptural yet fluid, the ring wraps the finger with perfect ease, an artwork in miniature, both grounded and dreamlike.
