This piece is from Enric Majoral's Samurai Collection. Delicate scales, like matte glitter, contrive a Japanese print, influenced by a humble radial figure. One that vaguely recalls the rays of a star, the umbrella of a geisha or the corolla of a flower. A very basic, decorative motif is repeated. This is the collection in which small circular forms develop the shields of a warrior, its oxidized metal robust enough for battle, or as gentle as the shell of a mythological animal.
